Domaine de Montille Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru “Les Malconsorts” 2010 (1.5L)

Vosne-Romanée (153 hectares) is home to some of the most precious and rares wines in the world. The southern border of the famous Grand Cru “La Tâche” (monopole of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) is called “Aux Malconsorts”. An appellation with a total surface area of 5.86 hectares that benefits from an exceptional placement – with the altitude, exposition and a soil type very similar to its illustrious neighbor, it could be a Grand Cru. The origin of the term “Malconsorts” is uncertain but it may indicate a troubled history of ownership with court battles required to assert or defend ownership of this magic place.
